Eureka Springs Organic Gardening Course
Held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2007 in
Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Blue Spring Heritage Center will host an Organic Gardening Course
on Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The course will be taught by Dr. Calvin Bey and includes concepts and
practices on how to establish and maintain your garden, with emphasis
on growing nutrient-dense vegetables. The course is for beginning
gardeners as well as those with considerable gardening experience.
The cost is $55.00 per person and includes the book “How to Grow
More Vegetables” by John Jeavons. If you own the book, the cost is
$35.00.

Dr. Calvin Bey is a retired USDA Forest Service scientist with a deep
concern about health and environmental issues. He has trained under
John Jeavons using the Grow Biointensive ® approach. He has attended
Acres USA conferences and has gardened in ten different geographic
areas in the past 50 years. He currently grows more than 40 kinds of
fruits and vegetables in Fayetteville, AR.
